About Me

Who is Kate?

Hi, I’m Kate Colton and I have been obsessed with doing hair and make-up since I was a kid (my first "customers" were my dolls!) I knew early on that the beauty business was likely where I would land professionally and 23 years later I’m still here! I wake up every day excited to go to the salon and help every one of my clients achieve her best look and the confidence that comes with it.

A lifelong St. Louis resident, I live in the Chesterfield area with my husband and daughter these days, and I don't have plans to go anywhere. In fact, I have worked at only three salons in my entire career, all of them within a few miles of each other. Now I own my own salon! For special events, including weddings and other celebrations, my complete travel studio means I am able to provide salon-quality hair and make-up services at your chosen venue.

We use Schwarzkoff, Redken, ID Color and PPD Free color.
